Rhodiola is an important medicinal plant source for developing new anti fatigue, anti hypoxia and anti-aging
plants. Rhodiola extract is a product extracted from dried rhizomes such as Rhodiola rosea L., and the
commercial extract is usually standardized to contain 4% salidroside.
Hong Jing Tian is the name of traditional Chinese medicine. It is the dried root
and rhizome of Rhodiola crenulata of Crassulaceae. After the flower stems wither in
autumn, they are dug, peeled, washed and dried in the sun. It is sweet and bitter in taste and neutral in nature.
